If you spend anytime listening to me you will often hear me call you all Gods & Goddesses. You may wonder if they are just terms of endearment. But no, I mean it with all sincerity. It is my way of recognizing and acknowledging the Divine Spark in each of you!

You may find yourself asking…What the heck does that mean? It means that each of us has a little piece of Divinity or God/dess with in us. It is the part of our spirit or soul that is ever evolving and trying to get us to raise our energies and vibrations through our lifetimes of learning the lessons we have come to this Earth plane to learn in each life time. So that our spirit/soul can rejoin the Source/Divinity.

In spirituality we often talk about our higher selves. This higher self is the part of your soul that contains that Divine Spark. If we learn to tap into that and listen to that higher self it will always guide us towards those things that are for our highest good. Those things that will help us learn our lessons and grow. To bring our energies and vibrations higher. To bring us closer to Divinity.

I have found that recognizing this Divinity within helps you give yourself some grace. While we are living these very human lives stiving to learn the lessons we came here to learn. We may not be perfect but we still bave Divinity within us. We are still a piece of God/dess. So we can forgive us the failings of our humanness and remember who we really are and continue to work and grow and evolve every day to become closer to being the God or Goddess we were meant to be.

How do you do that?

This is another one of the reasons we started with teaching Grounding, Centering, Shielding. Because it is through working with your energies and meditation that you can better learn to listen to your higher self. That higher self will never lead us down the wrong path. It will always lead us towards what is in our highest good.

Through meditation you can learn to listen to that “still small voice within” that is the voice of your higher self. It takes slowing down and quieting the noise in our own heads to be able to hear that “still small voice”.

I have heard it said, “That when you pray you speak to Divinity. When you meditate that is when Divinity speaks to you.” Divinity speaks to us mostly through our higher selves and that “Still Small Voice within”.

I know that some of this may seem a little foo foo, but I promise it isn't. For myself I used to have a lot of imposter syndrome, especially when it came to my spiritual gifts. Or like who am I to think I am special? Learning to recognize the Divine Spark within myself made be realize that these parts of me...my gifts are part of that Divine Spark. They don't make me special...they just make me, me. Just as your Divine Spark makes you you...and that is special.

Also for me seeing and recognizing the Divine Spark in others helps me give others grace where in my past I probably wouldn't have. I would expect others to treat me the way I would treat them. But not everyone is coming from the same place and that is not fair to hold them to the expectations I hold for myself. It helped to to meet others where they are.

In this current world social climate there is a breeding of hate and otherness to cause fear and disdain or outright prejudice. I feel that if we could all recognize that Divine Spark in each other we would see much more of how we are similar instead of different or at least how special those differences are. It makes if awfully hard to hate someone when you see God/dess in them
