We all need water for life. It nourishes us and keeps our bodies clean and healthy. Besides needing to keep us healthy, it keeps us happy. It feels great when we submerge ourselves in water. It soothes us physically, calms us mentally and emotionally, and spiritually purifies us.

It is a powerful cleansing force. Like heavy rain, it can wash the dirt from the road and your car. Spiritually the water element is used to symbolize inner cleansing.

It is the nurturing womb of the Mother. It represents the feminine flow of breath, emotions, and rhythms of nature,

The element of water encourages us to deal with “what is” and the strong emotions without pushing them away. It shows us how to give and receive love. It is emotional expression; as well as our link to humanity, other beings, and the Earth Herself.
