“Sit or lay in a comfortable position…relax and close your eyes, if you wish…
uncross you’re your arms and legs… and unclench your jaw…
take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly release it through your mouth…
continue to take deep breaths and allow your body to relax…
as you body relaxes, become aware of the energy around your body…
visualize your energy as a color you enjoy…see it zipping around you like little cartoon atoms…
Now in your next breath, you are going to see a glowing white string stretch from the crown of your head and stretch to your tailbone, this string is your Center…
it will travel through you like magick …now with each breath, you are going to gather those little balls of your energy zipping around you and put it on the string…
with each bit you gather you feel calmer and more focused…
take your time and gather up your energy…
Continue taking deep breaths as you gather your energy…
if a little energy sneaks away from your center, just gently guide it back…
your center string will glow brightly in your chosen color as you gather more energy to it and it will become slightly thicker…
now that you have centered, allow the excess energy to float away or fall to the ground…
take a few more deep breaths and become aware
of how you feel now that you are centered and focused…
this is a feeling you can come back to anytime
by breathing and pulling your energy into your center…
Take a few more deep breaths and when you are ready,
come back to us feeling centered and focused.
Notes:
1. I prefer the pulling the energy into a line that runs roughly on the inside of the spine.
2. If energy zipping around like cartoon atoms doesn’t visualize for you, think of little bees, fairy lights, etc.
3. With practice, the amount of time needed to center decreases. Practice makes it a reflex.
